Mike Ellis
I function as a Pastor & Worship Director at Redemption Church, Stevenage, Hertfordshire in the UK – where I have been since 2002. I was born again as a young teen in 1982 and have been involved in worship since 1983, when I started out playing the drums at the church I attended in Barry, South Wales UK.
I married Heidi in 1993 and we have 3 children together – Molly, Annie & Jonah.
I write & record worship songs which are sung not only in our own church and others in the UK, but have gone out to places ranging from the west coast of the USA to eastern Siberia. I write and teach on worship, and travel – leading worship at events & conferences.
I am so grateful and consider it a real privilege to be doing what I do. There is nothing quite like being caught up in the presence of God; seeing the expression of others as they too give themselves in worship & adoration of the lover of their souls.
